Innovation, quality, design, ease of use, functionality and eco-friendliness are what sets BWT’s products apart, and this has been repeatedly acknowledged and rewarded by eminent panels of judges. Many of our products have received internationally recognised prizes and awards in a wide range of competitions.
BWT’s trend-setting ‘Made in Europe’ products have not only won countless prizes but have proved their quality millions of times over, both where the water enters a building (‘point of entry’) and at its tapping point (‘point of use’), regardless of whether it is tap water, sea water or water from a well.
BWT Magnesium table water filter
The BWT Mg2+ table water filter is unique in that it can both filter tap water and enrich it with the vital mineral magnesium to bring out the full flavour of tea, coffee and other hot drinks.
This superb innovation received the "Regional Award for Innovation 2011" from a high-profile panel of judges comprising leading figures from the scientific, business, political and media worlds. They singled out BWT’s Mg2+ technology for its "outstanding features including, among others, its unique properties, benefits and environmental and economic impact, which fully merited the award."
BWT’s table water filter also gained the Kitchen Innovation of the Year 2013 prize in four separate categories: “The unique Mg2+ technology has won consumers over with its functionality, innovation, design and eco-friendliness and obtained above-average ratings for table water filters.”
bwt E1 Single lever filter
BWT’s E1 Single Lever filter makes the task of producing clean drinking water much simpler and safer than ever before. Not only does it protect domestic systems from contaminants and foreign particles borne in the mains water, but it also offers something new: users can replace the filter unit (hygiene safe) in a matter of seconds without any specialist technical knowledge:
Release the locking device, which shuts the water supply off in both directionsRaise the lever to automatically eject the hygiene safe.

The E1 Single Lever filter from BWT was awarded the quality mark ‘Product of the Year 2013’. Its outstanding technical specifications won the judges’ vote in each of four categories: innovation, high quality, user-friendliness and functionality.
The judging panel summed up their decision as follows: “BWT’s ‘E1 HW’ Single Lever filter excels through its simple method of shutting off the water supply and enabling the filter unit to be changed in a just a few seconds. Its hygiene safe and world-beating range of filters allow users to replace the filter element without touching the parts that are in direct contact with the water. High-quality materials and outstanding workmanship serve to promote the quality image of the BWT brand.”

BWT’s soft water system, AQA perla, provides silky-soft pearl water for the entire household – an innovative solution for all home owners in the fight against limescale.
